

The game's visuals and sound design really help to portray Batman's City as a worn city, taken apart by crime, rioting and anarchism. However, this game shines (ironically enough) through the creation of a dark, gritty City in Gotham.

Now, the Batmobile is fantastic, controls in both modes fantastic and being very fun, but has too much to do with the main story. Second, the story sometimes depend on the Batmobile too much. First, the story is too linear, and could be better with branching paths. What prevents this story from really becoming great is two things. This is provided through good voice acting with Conroy and Noble having good performances. The game's story has enough substance and psychological themes to provide a interesting story, whilst having the massive explosions, cameos off the Batman universe. Is it good though?
